Who is The Magic Man?

Molim El Barch, born on August 14th, 1985 in Bad Dürkheim in the Palatinate and grew up in the beautiful wine region, Molim, known to friends by his middle name Jassin, has always been a lover of nature and the quiet rural location of the Palatinate. 

His calm demeanor and the sensitivity of his manner are reflected today in the natural way in which he treats his customers and guests. 

At the age of 8 he began reading books on paranormal abilities and human psychology which he found on the bookshelf in the living room of his home. Thus he began early on to be fascinated by the supernatural and human behavior and to want to understand it. An interest that never let go of him and captivated him more and more. 

At the age of 20 he started to buy his first book about hypnosis and mental magic and from then on he kept showing his friends and acquaintances little tricks. Books on psychology, body language, hypnosis, NLP, rhetoric and magic followed, and hours in the library. 

Try lying to him. No, seriously: You're going to have a hard time succeeding. His empathetic nature made him a human lie detector through said reading - which is probably why he's still single. 

But you can convince yourself of this in a performance. 

Before graduating from high school, he first completed a sales apprenticeship and worked in this and other professions for a few years. In order to continue his education, he caught up on his Abitur and began studying sociology and Spanish at the University of Mannheim. By this time, he was already hypnotizing his fellow students and performing his magical feats at parties and events. 

It was success that, in his mid-twenties, gave him the courage he needed to follow his heart and finally decide to turn his hobby into a career. Since he knew from an early age that he wanted to be on stage, he was also fascinated by acting and so it came about that he went from school theater to privately organized plays, to the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern and even two German cinema productions again and again to the be there on stage or in front of the camera. 

The experiences and exercises with the professional actors and directors have shaped his personality and today make a significant contribution to a pleasant and extraordinary stage work. 

In 2013 he was employed as the in-house magician in one of Mannheim's trendy bars and was able to amaze the guests there several times a week for a year and a half. Whether from table to table or on stage, whether with young party people or even in front of prominent spectators, you can tell that he feels at home and comfortable in this element. Since 2013 he has also regularly performed professionally at birthdays, weddings, restaurants and cabaret in and around Mannheim. So far, his engagements have always taken him to all corners of Germany and since 2020 he can even be booked online and performs magic shows virtually "worldwide" live via webcam.
